Pizza & 2 delicious soups were provided for
all.
Dave Fuller of "Eyes
on the Sky" gave a brief description of this month's
night sky.
Dr. Alan Robinson of Fermilab explained to us
how scientists are using
sources of ionizing radiation to open new windows to our universe.
Another large group of visitors listened with
rapt attention.
Dr. Robinson then took extra time to explain
the latest gravitation waves
discovery by LIGO.
A commemorative cake was prepared for our
speaker.
Dr. Robinson and the group prepare to dig in
on non-scientific discovery.
A deliciously informative meeting was had by
all.
