CAS Meeting Jan. 8, 2016

Prior to the 7:00 PM meeting, everyone was treated to pizza, courtesy of President Audrey Fischer.
 

Audrey presented Greg Lambros with a "Shining Star" award for his volunteer contributions to CAS.

Peter Birren gave a short review of the upcoming night sky events for January.

Joe DalSanto, our featured speaker, gave his talk about "Exploring Mars."

Joe spoke to a near-capacity crowd occupying both seminar rooms..

After Joe's lecture Audrey Fischer presented him with a commemorative cake.

Several of us posed with Joe and the cake.

The cake was short-lived when Audrey started serving the masses.

Member Jim Reed gave his seal of approval.
