Our President Audrey Fischer welcomes everyone

José Francisco Salgado, PhD
astronomer, experimental photographer,
visual artist, science communicator

Dr. Salgado gave us a preview of a new presentation.
He combines visual graphics of the universe
to music, usually with a live orchestra.
This evening we were treated to
Mussorgsky's "Pictures at an Exhibition."

Audrey Fischer was enthralled as were the attendees.

This year the Chicago Astronomical Society presented
a new series of "Shining Star" awards
to many of our dedicated volunteers.
